There is no such thing as a “3-in-1” therapy session done by one individual claiming to be certified in everything. Always check your therapists’ credentials and choose your therapy center carefully.

Here’s our reminder today!

Under the Republic Act No. 11241 or “The Philippine Occupational Therapy Law of 2018,” only those who passed the licensure examination, and are issued valid certificate of registration (issued by the Board of Occupational Therapy and the Professional Regulation Commission) or a valid Special or Temporary Permit are allowed to practice occupational therapy in the Philippines. Unauthorized practice and representation as an OT without these are prohibited and punishable by law.
