Para sa mga nakakaranas at nakaranas na ng abuso, ang simpleng pangaraw-araw na pangyayari at pakikipagusap ay pwedeng maging trigger sa kanilang trauma. Ang pangaabuso ay sumisira ng self-esteem ng isang tao at nagdudulot ng paghihina ng loob.

Maging maingat sa mga sinasabi at huwag maging mapanghusga kapag kumakausap ng taong nakakaranas o galing sa mapangabusong relasyon.
