For every time I hear my baby cry along the clinic halls, there’s always a silent wish in my heart that my patients would understand that behind the white coat is also a mother who wants to be with her child all the time.

A silent wish that whenever someone sees my baby in the clinic, they would also see a woman trying her best to balance both motherhood and medicine at the same time.

Some days are exhausting. Some days come with guilt. But despite the long hours and busy clinic days, being a mother will always be the role closest to my heart.

Here’s to the silent heroes doing their best every single day. Happy Mother’s Day to all of us 🤍
