'Goodness of God'

Exodus 16:11-15
"And the Lord said to Moses, “I have heard the grumbling of the people of Israel. Say to them, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’

In the evening quail came up and covered the camp, and in the morning dew lay around the camp.

And when the dew had gone up, there was on the face of the wilderness a fine, flake-like thing, fine as frost on the ground.

When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “It is the bread that the Lord has given you to eat."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for taking care of our daily needs. Help us to truly appreciate Your goodness and generosity in our everyday life.

'Trust and Obey'

Exodus 15:23-26
'When they came to Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah.

And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log, and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the Lord made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them,

saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in His eyes, and give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, our great Provider and Healer, thank You for supplying our needs and keeping us healthy. Help us to diligently listen to Your word and obey Your teachings.

'Lead Me Lord'

Exodus 14:19-22

"Then the angel of God who was going before the host of Israel moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them,

coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel. And there was the cloud and the darkness. And it lit up the night without one coming near the other all night.

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for constantly watching over us, guiding and protecting us from harm, as You did for the Israelites. Teach us to be always grateful.

'Fear Not for I Am With You'

Exodus 14:13-16
"And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.

Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are an awesome, all powerful God. Thank You for performing miracles for our sake. Help us to fear not, to stand firm and trust You in all circumstances.

'God With Us'

Exodus 13:20-22
"And they moved on from Succoth and encamped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.

And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.

The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to Your promises that You will not leave us nor forsake us.

'Passover'

Exodus 12:25-28
"And when you come to the land that the Lord will give you, as He has promised, you shall keep this service.

And when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’

you shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, for He passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when He struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.’ And the people bowed their heads and worshiped.

Then the people of Israel went and did so; as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to be our Passover Lamb, to save us from our sins. Teach us to be forever grateful in remembering Your love, mercy and grace.

'Mighty to Save'

Exodus 12:11-13
"In this manner you shall eat it: with your belt fastened, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord.

The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are indeed powerful and just, executing judgement according to Your sovereign will. Thank You for sparing Your children from Your wrath.

'Oh, I Want to Know You More'

Exodus 8:20-22

Or else, if you will not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you and your servants and your people, and into your houses. And the houses of the Egyptians shall be filled with swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they stand.

But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where My people dwell, so that no swarms of flies shall be there, that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth."

Heavenly Father, forgive us for our hardheadedness and our disobedience to Your commands. Help us to know You more intimately and thank You for Your grace and protection everyday.

'Standing on the Promises'

Exodus 6:6-8
"Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.

I will take you to be My people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession. I am the Lord."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and concern for Your people. Teach us to always remember and trust Your faithfulness to Your promises.

'A Decided Mind'

Exodus 5:1-4
"Afterward Moses and Aaron went and said to Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness."

But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, and moreover, I will not let Israel go.”

Then they said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go a three days’ journey into the wilderness that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest He fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.”

But the king of Egypt said to them, “Moses and Aaron, why do you take the people away from their work? Get back to your burdens.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to soften our hearts and listen to Your instructions. May the Holy Spirit guide us in our daily decisions and choices.

'God With Us'

Exodus 4:10-13
"But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since You have spoken to Your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.”

Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.”

But he said, “Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, forgive us for giving many excuses for not following Your commands. Teach us to be obedient and to trust in Your promises that You are always with us.

'The Mission'

Exodus 3:11-14
"But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And He said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, indeed You are the great I Am, the pre-existent, everlasting Almighty God. Help us to be sensitive and obedient to Your calling and to fulfill Your great commission.
