It has come to our attention that urinalysis or urine reagent strips are being sold through various online platforms. We wish to remind everyone that Urinalysis is a diagnostic test that must only be performed within a DOH-licensed clinical laboratory by a Registered Medical Technologist (RMT) under the supervision of a licensed pathologist.

The purchase and unsupervised use of such strips online may lead to inaccurate results, misinterpretation, and potential harm due to the absence of proper specimen handling, testing procedures, and result validation.

PAMET strongly advocates for quality, accuracy, and ethical laboratory practices. We encourage the public to have their tests done only in licensed clinical laboratories where qualified professionals ensure the reliability of your medical results.
