Two days of collaboration para sa mas mabuting pangangalaga sa ating mga nakatatanda sa Tuguegarao! 💙

On August 19, ADAP participated in a round table discussion on the development of CVMC’s Memory Center, where ideas were shared on strengthening services and providing more comprehensive care for older adults with cognitive concerns and dementia.

On August 20, a Lay Forum on Dementia Awareness and Prevention was held in the morning for senior citizens and barangay health workers of Tuguegarao. Gov. Edgar Aglipay delivered a special message highlighting the importance of proper diagnosis, care, and support for persons with dementia and their families. Our speakers from ADAP and CVMC also shared practical information on understanding dementia, recognizing its early signs, reducing risk, and providing appropriate care and support.

The learning continued in the afternoon as ADAP conducted a workshop on dementia assessment tools for the staff of CVMC’s Brain and Spine Center.
