💪 *NKTI Holds Hemodialysis Access Mission for Dialysis Patients*
*June 20, 2026* - The _Department of Organ Transplantation and Vascular Surgery (OTVS)_ conducted a Hemodialysis Access Mission as part of the National Kidney Month celebration. A total of 20 patients with end-stage renal disease were screened during the activity, with 15 patients successfully undergoing hemodialysis access creation. The mission focused on providing patients with permanent vascular access needed for long-term dialysis treatment. Many of the beneficiaries were patients awaiting access procedures that are essential for safer and more reliable dialysis. The activity also brought together transplant surgeons, nephrologists, and allied health professionals in coordinating patient care and procedural services. Through initiatives such as this, NKTI continues to help patients access timely interventions that support their dialysis treatment and overall health.
