🚨 MYTH: People with color blindness only see black and white.
Not true.
Most people with color blindness can still see colors, but they may have difficulty distinguishing certain shades, depending on the type of color vision deficiency they have.
For example:
🔴 Protan – difficulty distinguishing reds.
🟢 Deutan – difficulty distinguishing greens.
🔵 Tritan – difficulty distinguishing blues and yellows.
⚫ Only a very small percentage of people have monochromacy, a rare condition in which color perception is severely limited.
👁️ Knowing the type of color vision deficiency is important because it can affect learning, career choices, and everyday activities.
💙 Understanding color blindness starts with knowing the facts.
