Napansin mo ba na minsan ay parang palabas ang isang mata?

Ang exotropia ay isang uri ng strabismus kung saan ang isang mata ay maaaring lumihis palabas, palayo sa ilong, patungo sa temporal direction.

Hindi ito laging constant. Sa ibang cases, maaaring mas mapansin lamang kapag pagod, may sakit, o tumitingin sa malayo. Maaari ring mapansin ang pagpikit o pagtatakip ng isang mata.

Mahalagang ma-evaluate nang maayos ang eye alignment para matukoy ang uri at pattern ng deviation at ang naaangkop na management.

Hindi lahat ng malabong paningin ay pare-pareho. Ang refractive error ay maaaring magpakita sa iba’t ibang paraan depende sa kung paano nagfo-focus ang mata ng light.

🔹 Myopia (Nearsightedness)
Malabo ang malalayong bagay, habang mas malinaw ang mga bagay na malapit.

🔹 Hyperopia (Farsightedness)
Maaaring maging mahirap o malabo ang near vision, lalo na sa prolonged reading o close work.

🔹 Astigmatism
Maaaring magkaroon ng blurred o distorted vision sa near at distance dahil sa hindi pantay na curvature ng cornea o lens.

📌Presbyopia
Age-related change sa near focusing ability. Karaniwang napapansin habang tumatanda, tulad ng hirap magbasa ng maliliit na letra o kailangan ilayo ang reading material.

Ang tamang correction ay nakadepende sa type at degree ng refractive error. Kaya hindi sapat ang basta “magpagawa ng salamin.” Kailangan muna ng proper eye examination.
