Baguhin ang Salaysay.

Sa World Su***de Prevention Day, sama-sama nating palakasin ang mensahe na bawat buhay ay mahalaga at bawat tao ay may kuwentong karapat-dapat pakinggan.

Ang pagpapahalaga sa buhay ay nagsisimula sa pag-unawa, pagmamalasakit, at pagkilos. Minsan, ang isang simpleng “Kumusta ka?”, pakikinig nang walang panghuhusga, o pag-alalay sa isang taong nahihirapan ay maaaring maging mahalagang unang hakbang tungo sa paghingi ng tulong. 💛

🫂 Makinig. Kumustahin. Kumilos.

Huwag nating hintaying maging huli ang lahat bago tayo mag-abot ng kamay.

Ang paghingi ng tulong ay hindi kahinaan—ito ay isang hakbang tungo sa paghilom at pag-asa.

📌 Mga Mahahalagang Kaalaman

• Ang su***de ay isang mahalagang usaping pangkalusugan, lalo na sa mga kabataan at young adults.
• Mas maraming lalaki ang namamatay dahil sa su***de, habang mas maraming babae ang naiulat na sumusubok nito.
• Ang stigma at takot sa paghatol ay maaaring maging hadlang sa paghingi ng tulong—kaya mahalagang lumikha tayo ng isang komunidad na ligtas magsalita at handang makinig.

In observance of World Mental Health Day this October 2026, the Veterans Memorial Medical Center – Department of Psychiatry is producing a special video project that shines a light on real stories and lived experiences of people with mental health conditions.

Through this initiative, we hope to amplify authentic voices, foster greater understanding within our community, and help break the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

We believe that every story matters and every voice deserves to be heard. Your journey, experiences, and perspective are uniquely yours—and sharing them may help someone else feel less alone, more understood, and more hopeful.
