See you later!!

Parenting today often means carrying many roles at once. Beyond raising children, many parents are balancing work, relationships, financial responsibilities, and personal challenges while trying to stay present for their families.

In this episode of Wellness Wednesdays, host King Emmanuel Filart sits down with Enha Tuprio-Brondo to talk about the realities of parenting through different life seasons, raising children with different needs, and finding ways to stay grounded through everyday stress. Together, they explore resilience, community support, and what parental wellness looks like in real life.

Fatherhood continues to evolve.

In our latest Wellness Wednesdays episode on Katipunan 87.9 FM, we explored what it means to be a modern Filipino father, how parenting roles are shifting, and why children need not only provision from fathers, but also presence, emotional safety, and connection.

This Father’s Day, we honor the dads and father figures who keep showing up, learning, adapting, and growing alongside their children.

A special thank you to Dr. Jim Rey Baloloy for joining us in this meaningful conversation and for sharing his insights on fatherhood, wellness, and the emotional realities many fathers carry.

This week on Wellness Wednesdays, we celebrate the strength of all Filipino fathers!

Let’s dive into what it means to be a modern Filipino father amid shifting expectations and responsibilities.

Come join us in this week’s episode as King Filart of Nurturing Connections talks to Dr. Jim Rey Baloloy, RPsy, founder and head psychologist of Ranga Psychosocial Services, to redefine what it means to be father: someone who is more than just a provider, but an actively present parent in their family’s lives.

Secure attachment is not about raising children who never struggle, never fail, or never say “no.”

It is about raising children who feel safe enough to:
- ask for help
- express emotions
- admit mistakes
- repair relationships
- try again after setbacks
- stay connected even during difficult moments

These small everyday statements often reflect something deeper beneath the surface: a relationship built on safety, trust, connection, and emotional security.

While no parent can be perfectly attuned all the time, secure attachment grows through repeated moments of repair, responsiveness, connectedness and feeling emotionally safe together.
