Founded in 1975 by Dr. Virgilio G. Enriquez, the Father of Sikolohiyang Pilipino, PSSP has been at the forefront of advancing a psychology rooted in Filipino culture, experience, and identity. Bringing together scholars, students, practitioners, and advocates, the organization continues to champion the development of Sikolohiyang Pilipino through education, research, professional development, and community engagement.
We are grateful for PSSPโs enduring contributions to Philippine psychology and its commitment to nurturing a psychology that is meaningful, relevant, and responsive to the Filipino people.
