Ang rabies ay isang nakamamatay na sakit, pero maaaring maiwasan sa pamamagitan ng maagap na aksyon at tamang pagbabakuna.

✅ Hugasan agad ang sugat gamit ang sabon at umaagos na tubig nang 15 minuto
✅ Linisin gamit ang antiseptic o alcohol
✅ Magpabakuna agad para makaiwas sa rabies

🐾 KNOW THE WARNING SIGNS OF RABIES.

Rabies is a serious and potentially fatal disease, but early action can save a life. Watch out for symptoms such as fever, headache, fatigue, tingling at the bite site, excessive salivation, hallucinations, hydrophobia, aggression, and difficulty sleeping.

If you’ve been bitten or scratched by a dog, cat, or other animal, don’t wait for symptoms to appear. Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and running water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately for proper wound care and anti-rabies vaccination.

Not all dogs will bite, but knowing how to respond can help prevent an unexpected attack. Stay calm, avoid sudden movements and eye contact, and never run from a nervous or aggressive dog.
