Covid - 19 vaccine is here in the Philippines. The vaccine available at the moment are Sinovac and Astra Zeneca.
Sinovac Phase III trial done in Brazil (unpublished) with the following results:
Overall efficacy is 50.38%
Long term side effect no data yet
It can be given to person ages 18-59 years old
Astra Zeneca/Oxford Approved in 7 countries
Over all efficacy is 62% (Full dose) and 90% ( half dose)
Long term side effect no data yet
It can be given to 18 years old- senior citizen
They are vaccinating our healthcare provider as they are the priority and soon the whole population...
Are you ready to be vaccinated with Covid - 19 vaccine?
Remember.... At the moment, it is not compulsary nor mandatory. It's a choice....
Some wants to be vaccinated first.
Some wants to wait and observe what happens next.
Some don't want to be vaccinated.
There is no wrong decision.
For those who wants to be vaccinated first, they will require you to sign an informed consent and will be ask to monitor what you feel every day.
My advise..... Take a deep breath..... Pray ..... and Decide.....
You also have to remember, even if you are vaccinated you still need to follow the minimum protocol such as: facemask, face shield and social distancing.....
