🐾 Successful Urethrostomy in a Dog 🐾

Another brave patient has successfully undergone urethrostomy at Vetreatment Veterinary Clinic. This procedure creates a new opening for urine to pass and may be recommended for certain serious or recurring urinary problems.

We’re grateful to the dedicated team and to the pet’s family for their trust and support. Wishing our patient a smooth recovery and many more comfortable days ahead! 💙

If your dog is straining to urinate, producing only a few drops, or unable to urinate, seek veterinary care promptly. Urinary problems can become an emergency.

Another successful surgery at Vetreatment Veterinary Clinic! 🐾💙

This brave Shih Tzu underwent a cystotomy to remove bladder stones, together with an ovariohysterectomy (spay). Both procedures were successfully completed, and our little patient is now on the road to recovery.

Bladder stones may cause painful urination, blood in the urine, frequent urination, or even life-threatening urinary blockage. Early consultation and proper treatment can make a significant difference.

Thank you to the fur parent for trusting Vetreatment Veterinary Clinic. Wishing this little warrior a smooth and speedy recovery! 🐶✨

🐾 SUCCESSFUL REMOVAL OF A MARBLE FROM A GUNSHOT WOUND

We successfully removed a marble lodged in a stray dog’s body after it was shot. Thankfully, the procedure went well, and the patient is now on the road to recovery.

Stray dogs feel pain and fear just like our beloved pets. They deserve compassion, not cruelty.

Please be kind to stray dogs. They deserve safety, care, and a chance to live. ❤️🐶

🐾 A Tough Fighter at 10 Years Old! ❤️

Our 10 year old patient came to us with a serious case of pyometra, a potentially life threatening infection of the uterus. Her bloodwork showed a WBC of 87 and RBC of 3.00, making her condition especially challenging.

Despite the risks, our veterinary team successfully performed pyometra surgery, along with dental prophylaxis and necessary tooth extraction.

Following surgery, she was closely monitored and confined for continued supportive care, including blood transfusion, to help stabilize her condition and support her recovery.

Cases like this remind us how important early detection, proper veterinary care, and close monitoring are especially for our senior pets.

We’re rooting for this brave girl as she continues her recovery. 🐶❤️‍🩹
