Stepping out to bring innovation back in! 💡🌱

Our Bixby Lab School and Early Childhood Development (ECDC) faculty recently visited our partner lab school - Child Development Laboratory (CDL) at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) campus for a high-value benchmarking experience!

Connecting with master childhood development educators gave us an up-close look at teaching methodologies, dynamic play-based environments, and progressive classroom management strategies.

Our faculty are returning inspired, energized, and ready to further elevate learning — mentoring every student at Bixby Knolls Preparatory Academy, Inc. & Bixby Lab School reach their fullest potential! 🎒✨💯

Sparky buzzes our students around town learning about the many places we see in our community—from the school, to the market, shops, and so many more! 🏫🌳🛒

For our little ones, these everyday places are more than just buildings. They are opportunities to build vocabulary, perspective, learn through activities, and begin to understand the world around them. 🌎✨

We love watching our students become more curious, confident, and connected to the world around them—one little discovery at a time.

Our lanyards and ID are finally here! These are scheduled to be released as early as this Thursday and into next when students return from the wellness break on the 16th.

Reminder there is no school this Friday through to Tuesday of next week. Consultation with your child's teachers are available, please reach out to Tr. Joyce and Tr. Grace if needed.

📣 This week, our Bixby Lab School students discovered that helping at home can be a meaningful way to learn, grow, and show love for our family.

What makes this week’s theme special is seeing them experience simple household chores through their own little hands. From sweeping, wiping their desk, to fixing clothes and cleaning up, each of them learned that everyone has a role to play when families work together.

Through playful challenges and creative activities, our Lab School student practiced responsibility, cooperation, and independence. They discovered that even the smallest helping hands can make a big difference at home.

Because for us, learning is not just about completing a task. It is about learning to care, learning to help, and discovering the joy of working together. Small hands 👋. Helping hearts ❤. Big teamwork 🤝!

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Wika at Kasaysayan, ipinamalas ng ating mga mag-aaral sa Lab School ang paggawa ng isang makabuluhang "Mosaic Flag" sa loob ng kanilang silid-aralan.

Higit pa sa isang malikhaing gawain, naging pagkakataon ito upang maipadama sa ating mga mag-aaral sa Lab School na ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay nagsisimula sa maliliit na bagay, sa pagkakaisa, pakikipagtulungan, at pagpapahalaga sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

This week, our Bixby Lab School learners discovered that even the simplest things we do every day can become meaningful learning experiences.

What makes Lab School's Week Theme special is seeing how our children learn through things that are familiar to them. Our Lab School Learners learn by doing, by asking, by trying, and sometimes even by making a little mess along the way.

Because for us, learning is not just about knowing the answer. It is about building curious minds, confident hands, and joyful hearts.

1st Class Parent Meetings | August 28

Last August 28, we had the privilege of sitting down with our Lab School parents, not simply to share a progress report, but to share a deeper picture of how each learner is growing, learning, and becoming.

These conversations matter. They give us the opportunity to celebrate the little victories, talk honestly about areas that need support, and, most importantly, work together for the development and welfare of our Lab School learners.
