7 fitness rules for men and women over the age of 40:

1. Your focus in the gym is injury prevention first, results second.

2. Using proper form is more important than the weight you're lifting.

3. Stick with the same workouts for 8 to 16 weeks while using progressive overload to make gains in the gym.

4. Eat a nutrient-dense diet, aiming for .8 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight to build muscle.

5. Do everything you can to get the hours of sleep you need while enhancing the quality of your sleep.

6. Leave your ego at the gym door and focus on smooth reps in the gym.

7. Never use age as an excuse. Unless you were a pro athlete, you can still make gains in the gym after 40.

Focus on these when you're at the gym, and you'll be farther ahead than 90% of people at the gym.

Ayon sa DOST-PAGASA, inaasahan pa rin ang matinding pag-ulan sa susunod na lugar:
📌 24 September: Karamihan ng Luzon, Western Visayas, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands.
📌 25 September: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Palawan, Siquijor, Camiguin, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Islands, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, and Davao Occidental.
📌 26 September: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Siquijor, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region

Dahil sa pinagsamang epekto ng katatapos na Super Typhoon Nando, Habagat, at papalapit na Tropical Storm Opong, nananatiling nasa panganib ang mga lugar na ito sa pagbabaha.

Pinapayuhan ang publiko na maging alerto sa malalang epekto nito. Hangga't maaari, iwasang lumusong sa baha, dahil maaari itong magdulot ng komplikasyon sa atay, bato, at puso dulot ng Leptospirosis.

Kung sakaling malulubog sa baha:
✔️ Agad na maghugas ng katawan gamit ang tubig at sabon
✔️ Agad na kumonsulta sa doktor kung may sugat o kung makararanas ng sintomas tulad ng lagnat at pananakit ng katawan
