Serving as one of the event's medical support teams, MERT responders conducted donor interviews, assessed vital signs during the screening process, provided first aid assistance, monitored donors before and after blood donation, and responded promptly to medical concerns. Their dedication helped ensure a safe, organized, and comfortable donation experience for every volunteer.

More than a blood donation drive, the activity reflected the power of compassion, volunteerism, and unity in giving hope to those in need. Through initiatives like this, MERT continues to uphold its commitment to emergency preparedness, humanitarian service, and promoting a culture of care within the CPSU community.

During the orientation, Ma'am Mendoza introduced the various medical and dental services available to the students, including health consultations, first aid, dental care, and health education programs. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining good physical and oral health, encouraging students to make wellness a priority as they begin their academic journey.

More than simply presenting the unit's services, the session served as a reminder that every student has a reliable support system on campus. The Medical and Dental Health Unit is always ready to provide compassionate care and assistance whenever students need it.

Through activities like the Student Services Orientation, the Medical and Dental Health Unit continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting a healthy, safe, and supportive learning environment for the entire CPSU community.

Yesterday, the Medical Emergency Response Team proudly stood on duty during the Initiation Program, ensuring that every participant could enjoy the event with safety and confidence.

From the beginning until the end of the program, our responders remained alert and prepared to provide immediate first aid and emergency assistance whenever needed. While we hope emergencies never happen, being ready to respond is what we do best.

Every duty is more than just being presentโ€”it's about protecting lives, offering reassurance, and serving our fellow students with dedication and compassion.

To our hardworking MERT responders, thank you for your commitment, teamwork, and selfless service. Your willingness to step forward and serve reflects the true spirit of our organization.

We would also like to thanks the RCY San Carlos Campus who stood beside us in the pursuit of protecting our dear students.
