A recent study in Pediatrics found that influenza vaccination reduced the risk of death from flu among U.S. kids and teens in recent years. The overall vaccine effectiveness against death from flu was 80% from August 2016 through July 2025.

Please be advised that our San Antonio clinic (Optimaltrust Diagnostics) will be closed tomorrow, July 28, 2026, Tuesday. This is due to a training program to be attended by Doc JC on the same day.

Clinic operations (Optimaltrust) will resume on July 31, 2026, Friday.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this might cause. For emergency cases, please proceed to the nearest emergency department.
