The City Government of San Fernando advises the public that its departments offering office-based transactions and services will be closed on August 19, 2026, as they will implement alternative work arrangements, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129 of the Office of the President.
Further, the City will retain the previous announcement by Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag regarding the implementation of online or alternative learning modalities for all schools at all levels, public and private.
However, operations of offices whose work involves the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness and response to disasters and calamities, and the performance of other vital functions will continue.
All Kawaning Fernandinos have been instructed to document their respective alternative work arrangement performance, while Caluag ordered the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council meeting and other LGU events to push through as scheduled.
