Financial Risk Protection in Action: CSMC Sustains Outstanding No Co-Pay Policy Compliance
Cebu South Medical Center continues to prove that Universal Health Care is more than a policy, it is a commitment we fulfill every day.
Based on the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation’s quarterly evaluation, CSMC achieved an outstanding 98.32% compliance with the No Co-Pay Policy for January–March 2026, improving further to 99.08% for April–June 2026.
This achievement reflects our commitment to ensuring that patients admitted to Basic Accommodation receive the medicines, medical supplies, and healthcare services they need without additional out-of-pocket expenses.
Despite increasing patient admissions, limited resources, and the demands of operating a high-occupancy government hospital, CSMC has remained steadfast in protecting patients from financial hardship. Behind these numbers are individuals and families who were able to focus on recovery instead of worrying about the cost of care.
This recognition affirms CSMC’s continuing commitment to making Universal Health Care a reality. Through the consistent implementation of the No Co-Pay Policy, we remain dedicated to ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to all and that no patient is left behind.
