• Get the person out of direct sunlight.
• Bring them to a shaded area, air-conditioned room, or indoors.

• Loosen or remove heavy clothing.
• Use cool, damp cloths on the neck, armpits, and groin.
• If possible, have them take a cool shower or bath.
