The Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 Celebration was successfully held on July 31, 2026, in Barangay Nuevo Trabajo, San Luis, Agusan del Sur, bringing together young people in a meaningful gathering that promoted leadership, health awareness, values formation, and active youth participation in community development.

The activity served as a platform for learning, empowerment, and inspiration, encouraging the youth to become responsible, informed, and proactive citizens who can contribute positively to their families and communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the barangay officials, youth leaders, resource speakers, partner agencies, and all participants whose support and active involvement made this celebration truly meaningful and successful.

As the province observes Family Planning Month, PGAS echoes this year's theme, "Panalo ang Pamilyang Planado! Tara, Usap Tayo sa Family Planning!", highlighting the value of accessible information, responsible parenthood, and family planning in achieving healthier and more resilient communities.

Through the initiative of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) Agusan del Sur, in partnership with the Municipality of San Luis and its healthcare partners, a successful Medical and Dental Mission was conducted on July 31, 2026, in Barangay Nuevo Trabajo, San Luis, Agusan del Sur, bringing essential healthcare services directly to the community and ensuring that quality healthcare remains accessible to every San Luisanon.

Residents benefited from a comprehensive range of free health services, including:

✅ Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Risk Assessment
✅ Medical Consultation
✅ HIV Testing and Counseling
✅ Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) for Cervical Cancer Screening
✅ Voluntary Blood Donation
✅ Tuli (Medical Circumcision)
✅ Dental Services
✅ Family Planning Services
✅ Health Education and Advocacy
✅ Free Distribution of Medicines

This outreach activity reflects our shared commitment to promoting preventive healthcare, early disease detection, and improving the overall well-being of our communities through collaborative and people-centered health services.

The USAD Medical Mission was successfully conducted on July 30, 2026, in Barangay San Isidro, San Luis, Agusan del Sur, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community through the collaborative efforts of our healthcare workers, partner agencies, and dedicated volunteers.

The USAD Medical Mission was organized to ensure that every San Luisanon, especially those in geographically challenged and underserved communities, has access to essential healthcare services. Its primary purpose is to improve the health and well-being of upland farming communities by providing accessible healthcare services, promoting disease prevention, and supporting sustainable livelihoods through a healthy and productive farming population.

A wide range of free health services was provided to residents, including:
