Early awareness can make a big difference in helping your child thrive. 💡

🔑 Common Signs of ADHD
1. Inattention

👉Carelessness and frequent mistakes in schoolwork.
👉Difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play.
👉Not appearing to listen when spoken to directly.
👉Failure to follow through on instructions or chores.
👉Trouble organizing tasks and activities.
👉Avoids tasks requiring sustained effort (like homework).
👉Frequently loses items (books, pencils, toys).
👉Easily distracted by surroundings.
👉Forgetfulness in daily routines.

2. Hyperactivity

👉Fidgeting or restlessness; difficulty staying seated.
👉Running or climbing in inappropriate situations.
👉Difficulty engaging quietly in leisure activities.
👉Acts “on the go” or as if driven by a motor.
👉Excessive talking.

3. Impulsivity

👉Acts without thinking; blurts out answers.
👉Difficulty waiting turn in games or group settings.

👉Does not respond to name by around 9 months.
👉Delayed speech or language skills; may lose words they previously used.
👉Difficulty starting or maintaining conversations; may only speak to request things.
👉Unusual tone of voice (robotic, singsong, or monotone).
👉Limited gestures (e.g., not waving goodbye).
👉Does not share interests (like showing toys or objects).
👉Difficulty understanding emotions or social cues (e.g., facial expressions, sarcasm).
👉Prefers to play alone or struggles to join group play.

2. Restricted or Repetitive Behaviors
Repeats words or phrases (echolalia).
