Tiny mosquito. Major inconvenience 😩
Dengue and Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever are viral infections transmitted by day-biting mosquitoes called Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus.
And yep, rainy season gives mosquitoes more places to breed. 😭
Common symptoms include sudden fever of 40°C, vomiting, body pain, skin rashes, bleeding symptoms in severe cases, etc.
✅ Protect yourself and your household:
• Search & Destroy: Remove stagnant water from pots, cans, tires, and gutters.
• Stay Guarded: Use mosquito repellent and wear long sleeves and pants.
• Seek Early Check-Up: Seek medical attention if your fever lasts more than 2 days
• Support Fogging: Support localized fogging in hotspot or outbreak areas.
• Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
Mosquitoes should not be rent-free in your home. 🦟
Stay dry, stay clean, and stay healthy this rainy season. 🤗
