PCOS isn’t just about hormones – it hits mental health hard too. 💔

In a study of 982 women with PCOS, 37% experienced clinically relevant anxiety and 17% faced clinically relevant depression. The struggles with hair loss (alopecia) and obesity were especially linked to worse anxiety, depression, and low body appreciation. Younger and unemployed women, along with those with past mental health issues, are at a higher risk.

Women with PCOS need emotional support as much as medical treatment. 🤝 If you have PCOS, has anyone in healthcare asked you about your mood or body image?
