KINDLY READ!
Su***de is the act of intentionally causing one's own death.
In the Philippines, su***de is the 27th leading cause of death, and the cases itsgreatly increased by 25.7% last 2020. (Philippine Statistics Authority,2021)
This pandemic affects not only our economic sustainability but also our mental health stability. Some say new normal, but it was best described as now normal. In line with this, the sudden change of us interacting from you comforting your friends had a huge impact in this situation: social distancing, and the avoidant of social gathering relative emerge in society. People are also advised to stay at home to stop the spread of this virus. As a result of this, people and stayed in the comfort of their home but take note that some "the comfort of their home" become the "darkness of their lives" the piled stress and ANTS or automatic negative thoughts had occurred.
It was sad to say we are all distanced by the situation by we can reach out and still be together virtually, and we will look forward that soon we will see each other again with no face mask and we can definitely hug one another again. So kapit kapatid kaya natin to. We will hold our hands together. If you are struggling, my hands and ears are open. I will always be available for everyone.
Also, it does not end there. I would like to be an advocate to stop the stigma of mental health. Cause I believe that mental health is as important as physical health. It's not "pag-iinarte" neither "kulang ka lang..." statement; it was more than that. So let's all open our minds and heart that mental health disorders are real.
