In-House Bloodletting Activity Brings Hope Through Blood Donation

July 22, 2026 — A month ago, the Adventist Hospital – Santiago City, Inc., in collaboration with Southern Isabela Medical Center, conducted an in-house bloodletting activity facilitated by the hospital’s Laboratory Department.

The activity brought together employees and volunteers who willingly gave a part of themselves to help patients in need of blood. Each donation became a valuable contribution that could help save a life when it matters most.

The hospital extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who took the time to donate. Their generosity and willingness to help make them real heroes—quietly giving hope and a second chance to someone they may never meet.

Fire Brigade Team Undergoes Training for Emergency Preparedness

August 13–14, 2026 — The Adventist Hospital – Santiago City, Inc. conducted Fire Brigade Team Training Batch 1 on August 13–14, 2026, to strengthen the team’s preparedness and response during fire emergencies.

The training provided participants with essential knowledge and hands-on skills in fire prevention, emergency response, and proper handling of fire-related situations. It also emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, and readiness in protecting patients, staff, and hospital facilities.

The hospital extends its sincere appreciation to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Santiago City, especially FO3 Roland Michael Pagarigan, FO1 Jan William Lopez, and FO1 Marc Gio Valenzuela, for sharing their knowledge and expertise throughout the training.

Their guidance and support helped equip the Fire Brigade Team with greater confidence and preparedness to respond when it matters most.

Breastfeeding Week Celebrated at Adventist Hospital – Santiago City, Inc.

August 3–7, 2026 — The Adventist Hospital – Santiago City, Inc. joined the observance of Breastfeeding Week through a week-long celebration led by the Breastfeeding Committee under the leadership of MFBHI Coordinator Lallaine Balberan.

The celebration aimed to promote the importance of breastfeeding and encourage greater awareness and support for breastfeeding mothers. Various activities were conducted throughout the week to highlight the benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and their babies.

Through the efforts of the Breastfeeding Committee, the week-long observance provided an opportunity for healthcare workers and the community to strengthen their support for breastfeeding and promote a healthier start for every child.

Agosto 19, 2026 — Santiago City. Nakibahagi ang Adventist Hospital – Santiago City, Inc. sa pagdiriwang ng kaarawan ni Atty. Alyssa Sheena Tan, CPA sa pamamagitan ng pakikiisa sa programang “KuSheena Para sa Taumbayan”, na naghandog ng libreng pagkain sa mga kababayan.
