In collaboration with the LGU of the City of Sto. Tomas, employees of St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center (SFCMC) volunteered in an environmental clean-up drive at Brgy. San Isidro Norte Bakal Bridge, Santo Tomas, Batangas on June 10, 2026.

During the activity, non-biodegradable waste such as plastic bottles, styrofoam, broken glass, and used diapers were collected. These materials break down into hazardous microplastics that can contaminate soil and water sources.

Through this initiative, SFCMC reaffirms its commitment to promoting a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.

Ngayong Araw ng Kalayaan, ating ginugunita ang tapang at sakripisyo ng mga bayaning nagbigay-daan sa kalayaan ng ating bansa.

Bilang mga Makabagong Bayani, araw-araw nilang pinipiling maglingkod nang may malasakit, integridad, at dedikasyon. Sa bawat paggagamot at pag-aaruga sa mga pasyente at kanilang mga pamilya, ipinapakita nila na ang tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan ay nasusukat hindi lamang sa matatapang na gawa, kundi sa tahimik at tapat na paglilingkod sa kapwa.

Kaya naman sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan, ipinapaalala sa atin na ang diwa ng kabayanihan ay buhay pa rin; sa mga kamay na nagpapagaling, sa mga pusong handang umalalay, at sa mga propesyunal na patuloy na inuuna ang kapakanan ng iba.
