Newborn skin peeling after birth is completely normal and very common. Inside the womb, baby skin is protected by fluid, and once born, it starts adjusting to dry air. The extra outer layer naturally sheds in the first few days or weeks, especially in babies born after their due date. It doesn’t hurt or itch and usually clears up on its own with time. 💕
