Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter - Silang Branch is an autonomous, non-government and a non-profit humanitarian organization.

The branch and extension office of the Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter located in the Municipality of Silang, Province of Cavite delivering Red Cross services closer to the Caviteños. Born officially in 1947, Philippine Red Cross (PRC), a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, has roots that trace back to the revolutionary days. It is committed to providing quality life-saving services that protect life and dignity, especially of indigent Filipinos in vulnerable situations. The Philippine Red Cross is made up of men and women from all walks of life. It is the tale of hundreds of thousands of ordinary people who devoted their time and resources to help the poorest of the poor. They are professionally trained to lend a helping hand to those in need – whoever, whenever, and wherever they may be. The PRC has been established 60 years ago. Before, the PRC used to be involved only in providing blood and in disaster-related activities and short-term palliatives. Now it also focuses on a holistic approach to uplift the condition of the most vulnerable and a wider array of humanitarian services. At present, the PRC provides six major services: Blood Services, Disaster Management, Safety Services, Community Health and Nursing, Social Services, and the Volunteer Services. All of them embody the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement – humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality. These values guide and inspire all Red Cross staff and volunteers, to whom being a Red Crosser is more than just a philosophy but a way of life

The Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter and its Silang Branch extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the dedicated vaccinators and support volunteers who served during the MR-SIA and Vitamin A Supplementation Activity from August 10 to September 24, 2026 covering the areas of Bacoor, Naic,Imus and Silang, Cavite.

Through your commitment and tireless service, we reached 2,258 children, achieving 150.53% of our target!

We sincerely thank the Philippine Red Cross National Headquarters, especially Secretary General Dr. Gwendolyn Pang and Health Services Manager Mr. Mark Abrigo, for their invaluable support.

We also express our appreciation to the Municipality of Silang - LGU, the Silang Rural Health Unit led by Dr. Jericho Joshua Palay, and the Cavite Provincial Health Office for Bacoor, Naic and Imus through Dr. Nonie John L. Dalisay for their strong collaboration.

Volunteer and Welfare Services

We are looking for someone who is passionate about humanitarian service, enjoys working with volunteers and communities, and is ready to respond when help is needed most.

Qualifications:

* College graduate, preferably in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Community Development, Public Administration, or a related field
* Ready for deployment during disasters
* Passionate about humanitarian services
* Willing to work beyond office hours when necessary
* Red Cross volunteer experience is an advantage
* Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in MS Office and basic reporting tools
