QAPI means Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement. In dialysis, it is a continuous system for checking the quality of care, identifying problems, making improvements, and measuring whether those improvements work.
Sa madaling salita, “Sinusukat natin ang ginagawa ng center, inaayos ang mga problema, at tinitiyak na mas ligtas, epektibo at mas mahusay at makatao ang serbisyo. para sa mahal nating pasyente”
- Quality Assessment: Are we meeting our standards? What do patient records, laboratory results, incidents, and complaints show?
- Performance Improvement: What causes the gaps? What will we change, who will handle it, and did the change improve results?
Our ultimate goal is to establish QAPI as IR3HSCP’s regular management system for patient care and operations. Drawing on international best practices and U.S. dialysis standards, we have adopted QAPI to advance the quality, safety, and efficiency of our services beyond the minimum requirements of the Philippine DOH and PhilHealth, while maintaining full compliance with applicable local requirements.
