Caraga Regional Hospital Caraga Regional Hospital is located in Surigao City, on the northeastern tip of the Philippine island

October 6, 1946 A 25-bed Emergency Hospital was established, maintained and operated by the National Government. July 1, 1958 The Emergency Hospital was converted to Surigao Provincial Hospital and bed capacity was upgraded to 50.
1962 Authorized bed capacity was upgraded to 75.
1970 Authorized bed capacity was upgraded to 100.
1985 Authorized bed capacity was upgraded to 150. April 1, 1993

The Hospital was devolved to the Province of Surigao del Norte under Republic Act 7160 Republic Act No. 8255 was signed into law converting Surigao Provincial Hospital to Caraga Regional Training Hospital with an authorized bed capacity of 150. August 1, 1997 Caraga Regional Training Hospital was established and Republic Act 8255 was implemented. Today, Caraga Regional Hospital is continuously upgrading its medical equipments, infrastructure facilities, and personnel component to be an excellent core referral hospital for the sick and injured.
