My Cochlear Implant Journey 🦻❤️

40 months hearing age and now reading Abakada! 🥹

I’m so thankful for my cochlear implant and for everyone who has been part of my journey. From learning to hear sounds to recognizing words and now reading—every little progress means so much.

Slowly but surely. One step at a time. ❤️

Grateful Heart ❤️

Thank you, Lord, for always providing for our son. 🙏

Having a cochlear implant is truly life-changing, but the reality is that it comes with high maintenance and unexpected expenses. There are parts that need replacement, batteries, accessories, and regular checkups. As parents, we always need to be ready because our son’s hearing depends on it.

It’s not always easy, but we are thankful for every blessing, every helping hand, and every opportunity that allows us to continue giving him access to sound and speech.

One day at a time. God will provide. ❤️

Cochlear implant has an upgrade available, but POY CI is not for upgrade but for replacement dahil laging nasisira😊
Since sobrang mahal na ng parts at wala na kaming warranty, mas practical na bumili na lang ng bagong unit kaysa magpa-replace ng parts.

One option we’re looking at now is to get a replacement unit with a higher version.

Lord, iguide niyo po kami sa tamang desisyon. 🙏🙏🙏
