๐ŸŒŸ PuroKalusugan goes to Barangay Malalao! ๐ŸŒŸ

Our community gathered at the Barangay Malalao Gymnasium for a day of free health services, education, and youth support โ€” all made possible through the collaboration of SK Officials, the Barangay Council, Super Health Center IV staff, and DOH-HRH. ๐Ÿ’ชโค๏ธ
โœจ Hereโ€™s what we accomplished together:

๐Ÿฉบ Free Medical Services: PhilHealth registration, cervical screenings (VIA/CBE), and free circumcision for young boys.
๐Ÿ’‡ Free Grooming Services: Complimentary haircuts plus distribution of school supplies.
๐Ÿ“š Health Education: Awareness lectures on Oral Health Care and HIV/AIDS.
๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2026: Standing in solidarity to raise awareness and support for those affected by HIV.
๐ŸŽ’ Back-to-School Support: School supplies distributed to JHS, SHS, and college students to prepare them for the upcoming academic year.
๐Ÿ™ Thank you to all our dedicated BLGU, and residents who made this event impactful.

PuroKalusugan activity was conducted last May 08, 2026, at Lacnog, Tabuk City, Kalinga, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community. The activity covered programs on NCD Cancer, NCD-HPN and DM and WaSH, promoting health awareness, disease prevention and overall wellness among residents.

Services provided during the activity included the distribution of NCD commodities and health consultations for clients with hypertension, diabetes and other non-communicable diseases. A total of 36 clients were served under the NCD program. In support of cervical cancer prevention and early detection, 5 clients underwent VIA screening. Circumcision services were also provided to 10 clients during the activity.

Barangay Agbannawag successfully conducted its regular monthly NCD activity aimed at promoting awareness, prevention and proper management of hypertension, diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.

We are also glad to share that the PHILHEALTH GAMOT PROGRAM is now being implemented in the Super Health Center, providing accessible medicines to qualified patients.

In the event of continuously bringing smile to the community Brgy. Bulo Tabuk City, Tabuk Super Health Center were determined to take extra effort despite challenging weather just to make everyone in the community happy. The PuroKalusugan (PK) team strategy ultimate objective: bringing Health services closer to the community was successfully achieved resulting to 8 happy circumcised adolescent along with 50 NCD medical consultation and follow-up.

Promoting Health & Hygiene in Our Community
A healthy community starts with proper hygiene and informed choices. Today, we came together to support our local circumcision activity, an important step in promoting cleanliness, health, and overall well-being, especially among young boys.

Circumcision, when done safely by trained health professionals, can help reduce the risk of infections and encourages better personal hygiene. Alongside this, we continue to remind everyone of simple yet powerful habits:

โœ”๏ธ Clean surroundings
โœ”๏ธ Accessing reliable health services
