A Morning Prayer
Almighty and loving God,
This morning, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for the blessings You have poured into our family, for the work You have entrusted to us, and for every good thing—seen and unseen—that continues to sustain and guide us.
As parents, part of our greatest responsibility is to guide our children as they grow—to teach them to become kinder, wiser, stronger, and better each day. Yet we know that we are not always in control. Life makes us vulnerable to sickness, accidents, disappointment, failure, and even people whose intentions may not be good.
So, Lord, we ask You to be our refuge and our safe space. Surround our family with Your protection. Give us wisdom to recognize what is right and courage to walk away from what is wrong. When we are faced with difficult choices, guide our hearts. And please, never allow our own actions, pride, anger, or ambition to turn us into the very kind of people we once prayed to be protected from.
Today, I also lift up to You the people who walk beside us every day—our employees, our colleagues, and those who work with us toward a common purpose.
They are not merely people who help us accomplish our goals. They are parents, children, spouses, brothers, sisters, and providers of their own families. Each of them carries a story, a burden, a dream, and perhaps a silent struggle that we may never see.
Lord, whatever they may be going through today, please meet them where they are. Heal what is hurting. Strengthen what is weak. Provide where there is need. Give them peace when their hearts are heavy, and hope when the road ahead feels uncertain. Protect their families, bless the work of their hands, and help them remain faithful to the people who depend on them.
Remind us that every person we encounter is walking a path we may know nothing about. May we learn to be more patient, more compassionate, and more grateful.
We may all walk different roads, carry different burdens, and dream different dreams—but we are all simply trying to find our way through this life.
So today, Lord, let us not take another day for granted.
Give us the grace to be grateful, the wisdom to do what is right, the humility to admit when we are wrong, and the strength to keep becoming better—not only for ourselves, but for the people whose lives You have placed in our care.
Walk with us today, Lord.
Protect our families.
Guide our decisions.
Bless the people around us.
And keep our hearts gentle, even when life gives us every reason to become hard.
We place this day, our families, our work, and the people we love in Your hands.
Amen. 🙏
