Mother of Mercy Hospital was truly blessed to welcome the 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩-𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙩. 𝙋𝙖𝙙𝙧𝙚 𝙋𝙞𝙤, graciously brought by the Sto. Padre Pio Mission Area of Dreamville Subdivision, Brgy. Bagacay, Tacloban City, under the spiritual leadership of 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐉𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐳.

The sacred relic was reverently brought to the different patient rooms, allowing our patients, their families, and our healthcare workers to receive prayers, blessings, and spiritual comfort through the intercession of St. Padre Pio.

May this blessed visit strengthen our faith, bring healing to the sick, hope to the weary, and peace to every heart. We thank the Sto. Padre Pio Mission Area and Rev. Fr. Jhune Anthony Perez for sharing this extraordinary gift of grace with the Mother of Mercy Hospital family.

The NSTP-CWTS Unit of Holy Infant College officially launched the implementation of their project, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙥: 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣-𝙐𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚 , in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the course National Service Training Program – Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS).

Last May 2, 2026 (Saturday), the students conducted a clean-up drive at the front area of Mother of Mercy Hospital, promoting environmental awareness, teamwork, and community service.

Thank you to the NSTP-CWTS students for your time, effort, and dedication in making our surroundings cleaner and more welcoming.

Mother of Mercy Hospital Tacloban supported the clean-up drive through the invitation of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in observance of World Water Day 2026. The activity, held on March 20, 2026, aimed not only to improve water flow and quality but also to raise public awareness on the importance of preserving the integrity of our water bodies.

In coordination with DENR personnel and Barangay officials, the clean-up drive was successfully conducted at Mangonbangon River.

Mother of Mercy Hospital–Tacloban once again held its annual Lenten Recollection with Rev. Fr. Jonathan Raagas as the speaker.

Held in celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph, the second batch of MMH staff gathered in a spirit of prayer and reflection, inspired by St. Joseph’s humility, obedience, and unwavering faith. This sacred time allowed participants to pause from their daily duties, deepen their relationship with God, and renew their commitment to serve with compassion, integrity, and quiet strength—following the example of St. Joseph as a faithful servant and protector.
