🤰 Preeclampsia: When High Blood Pressure During Pregnancy Needs Attention

Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication usually developing after 20 weeks, often involving high blood pressure and signs that organs may be affected.

⚠️ Watch for possible warning signs such as:
• Severe or persistent headache
• Blurred vision or seeing spots
• Sudden swelling of the face or hands
• Pain in the upper abdomen
• Shortness of breath
• A sudden increase in blood pressure

Some women may have **few or no noticeable symptoms**, which is why regular prenatal checkups and blood pressure monitoring are so important.
