🌿Bamboo Planting Activity🌿

The Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO), in partnership with Barangay New Passi, City of Tacurong headed by our Punong Barangay, Hon. Gerry B. Palomo successfully conducted a Bamboo Planting Activity at Purok Lawaan in celebration of Philippine Environment Month.

This initiative highlights the importance of bamboo in protecting riverbanks, reducing risks of erosion and flooding, safeguarding lives and properties, and enhancing local biodiversity. More importantly, it reflects the power of community collaboration in creating a greener, healthier, and more resilient future for everyone.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to individuals who generously shared their time and efforts to make this activity a success.

Together, we are planting not only bamboo—but also hope for future generations.
