Mission accomplished! We have successfully completed the Tacurong City Tour for Healthier Kidneys for the National Kidney Month celebration. Our final two stops concluded on June 29 and June 30 in Barangay New Carmen and Barangay Buenaflor respectively, wrapping up a powerful five stop journey!

A total of approximately 500 high-risk residents participated across all stops. More than half of the attendees tested positive during the CKD screening. This highlights exactly why our mission matters. Early detection was a vital goal, but our ultimate purpose was to spread awareness and empower Tacurongnons to take the wheel in managing their kidney health.

Thank you so much to the incredible city health sector team for your unwavering dedication. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the residents who took a proactive step for their well being and joined our advocacy. Together, we are building a healthier kidney community!!

The celebration of National Kidney Month continues! The 2nd and 3rd cluster of our tour was successfully conducted last June 18 and June 23 respectively.

To all our beloved Tacurongnons, please be advised that the 2nd Cluster stop for Tacurong City Tour for Healthier Kidneys on June 9 in Poblacion is postponed due to the recent earthquake.

Safety is the top priority as the community recovers.

Milestone unlocked! Leg 1 (Cluster 1) of our Tacurong City Tour for Healthier Kidneys is officially complete!

Today we held our first cluster screening, catering to over 100 high-risk patients for Chronic Kidney Disease.

To ensure immediate care, our very own nephrologist, Dr. Leguro, personally evaluated each of these patients and provided free clinical consultations for further medical management and guidance.

Early detection saves lives, and we are committed to bringing specialized kidney care closer to every Tacurongnon. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this vital health initiative. Stay tuned for the next stops of our city tour!
