Working Together for Better Nutrition Outcomes

TEAM BUILDING 2026 | CITY NUTRITION OFFICE

The City Nutrition Office successfully conducted a meaningful and energizing Team Building 2026 for our dedicated Barangay Nutrition Action Officers (BNAOs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs) a celebration of teamwork, camaraderie, commitment, and our shared mission to build a healthier Tagaytay.

Led by CNAO Engr. Emilma U. Pello and CNPC Marietta DG. Dogelio, the activity brought together our nutrition workforce in an atmosphere of collaboration, fun, and renewed purpose.

Behind every successful nutrition program are the BNAOs and BNSs who continuously give their time, energy, skills, and heart to serve our communities. From nutrition monitoring and education to program implementation, community mobilization, feeding activities, and emergency response, their dedication helps bring nutrition services closer to every family and every barangay.

34 Barangays of Tagaytay Strengthen Community Nutrition and Emergency Response

In times of calamities and emergencies, nutrition remains a critical part of saving lives and protecting the health of vulnerable communities.

Across the 34 barangays of Tagaytay City, the Barangay Nutrition Committees, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Nutrition Action Officers, health workers, and other community partners stand ready to respond to the nutritional needs of families affected by emergencies.

Through coordinated nutrition-in-emergency (NiE) response, communities work together to ensure that essential food, nutrition support, and health services reach those who need them most especially infants, young children, pregnant and lactating mothers, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.

🚐 Nutri Mobile Kitchen: Bringing Nutrition Where It Is Needed

The Nutri Mobile Kitchen serves as an important community-based response mechanism, bringing nutritious meals and essential nutrition support directly to affected areas. During emergencies, it can help provide immediate food assistance while supporting the continuity of nutrition interventions.

🤝 A Whole-of-Community Response

Emergency nutrition is not only about providing food it is about protecting lives, preventing malnutrition, maintaining health, and ensuring that no family is left behind during a crisis.

The collective efforts of the 34 Barangays, Barangay Nutrition Committees, nutrition workers, health workers, volunteers, and partner agencies demonstrate Tagaytay City’s commitment to building a resilient community that is prepared to respond before, during, and after emergencies.

Because even in times of calamity, nutrition must continue.
