Preserving thumb function is a must! The thumb is a complex body structure that helps in daily function. Our thumbs are necessary for pinching, grasping, typing and holding a pen. Amputation of the thumb during an accident is the last option. 👍

Patient was unable to extend his fingers and thumb due to multiple tendon transection (EPL and 3 EDC). Now, 8 weeks after surgery and physical therapy, the patient has regained his finger extension and strength. :) Thumbs up na balik si Tatay! 😊👍👌
