What started as a small beginning has grown into a community built on hope, care, and the belief that every child has the potential. 🌱

Career Day is more than dressing up as future professionals—it's an opportunity for our children to explore the world around them, build confidence, and imagine the many possibilities that await them. 🌟

This event encouraged our learners to explore different occupations while developing communication, social interaction, self-expression, and functional life skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. One step at a time, we're helping them build the confidence and skills they need for the future. 🧠✨

Not every lesson happens inside a therapy room. Sometimes, it happens while deciding which snack to buy, looking for the right school supplies, waiting patiently in line, or saying "thank you" to the cashier. 🌱

With every choice made and every task completed, our children practiced skills that will help them navigate everyday life with greater confidence and independence. One shopping trip, countless learning opportunities. 💙🛒

Last month, we had A Day with the Farm Animals where the children enjoyed an exciting day of exploration, learning, and fun! 🐴🐐🐢

The children enjoyed horseback riding, feeding and interacting with animals such as goats, hamsters, and turtles, and exploring the farm alongside their peers. These shared experiences provided opportunities for social interaction, confidence-building, and learning through meaningful, hands-on activities, all while creating wonderful memories and having lots of fun! 💙🌱

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for your trust, support, and participation in making this event possible.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the City Government of Tagbilaran and Mayor Jane Yap for generously providing transportation through a city coaster. 🤍

Last April 25, 2026, our center held “A Day with the Farm Animals,” a meaningful and engaging activity designed to support children’s socialization through shared play and interaction. 🐓🐐

Through guided experiences with farm animals, the children were encouraged to communicate, build connections, and develop confidence in a fun and supportive environment. As part of their socialization and community integration, the children also experienced riding a bus together—an exciting opportunity to practice real-life skills and group participation.

In line with World Autism Consciousness Month, this program reflects our continued commitment to fostering inclusion, understanding, and development for every child.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supportive parents for their trust and cooperation, and we sincerely appreciate the dedication and teamwork of our staff whose efforts made this event a success.

🌾 A Day with the Farm Animals: Socialization & Discovery! 🚜

Calling all our dear BLCTC Parents and Guardians!

We are so excited to announce our upcoming Socialization Day at South Farm-Panglao! This tour is more than just a fun outing; it is a vital community integration intervention designed to help our children experience the real world, practice mobility, and develop social skills in a beautiful, natural environment.

📍 Event Details:
When: Saturday, April 25, 2026

Where: South Farm, Panglao, Bohol

Time: 8:00 AM (Assembly at BLCTC) – 12:00 NN (Drop-off)

Attire: BLCTC Uniform (Green or Yellow T-shirt), shorts/pedals, and a hat.

🐴 What’s in Store for the Kids?
Our students will enjoy a guided farm tour, visit the Artisan’s Village, and participate in teacher-facilitated activities like animal feeding, fishing, and horse/carabao riding! They will even practice ordering their own snacks at UMA Cafe to build independence.

📝 Important Reminders for Parents:
Supervision: To encourage independence and socialization, kids will be guided by our 15 trained teachers and staff (OTs, STs, and SPED teachers).

Observation: Parents are welcome to convoy and observe from a distance, but we kindly ask that you allow the staff to personally assist the kids during the tour.

Pack Light: Please bring a bag with extra clothes, diapers (if necessary), water, and their PWD ID.

Sun Safety: Don’t forget to apply sunscreen before we head out!
