The Municipality of Tagudin successfully celebrated World Lung Day 2026 through an energetic and meaningful Zumba for Health held on September 23, 2026, at the Municipal Ground Hall, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, carrying the theme:

“Breathe Strong, Live Long: Move for Healthy Lungs.”

The activity was spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of Tagudin under the leadership of Mayor Evangeline I. Verzosa, through the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Richel Ann C. DORAO, in celebration of the importance of maintaining healthy lungs and an active lifestyle.

The celebration was made even more meaningful with the active participation of LGU Tagudin employees, DOH-HRH, and representatives from various national government line agencies, who came together to move, dance, and promote the importance of physical activity and healthy living. 🤝💙

Their presence and participation truly brought the spirit of unity and collaboration for health to life. The activity served as a reminder that promoting healthy lungs is a shared responsibility—and that staying active is one of the many ways we can invest in a healthier future. 🌱🫁
