Kung tutuusin puro na patawid sa teknolohiya at AI ginagawa natin, babawasin pa ang mga araling nagpapatibay ng pagkatao natin.
Kahit na sabihin na ipapasok ito sa ibang aralin, alam natin ang katotohanan na hindi na iyan mabibigyang-diin dahil hindi na iyan ang pinakapunto ng mga binubuong subjects. Lalo na sa lagay ng Pilipinas, na di matapos-tapos na korapsyon, ay nasan na ang Maka-tao sa edukasyon?

The Teaching Psychology Special Interest Group of the Psychological Association of the Philippines expresses its 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗚𝗘) 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺 as outlined in the draft Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Order on Policies, Standards and Guidelines on the Reframed General Education Curriculum Component: Philosophy, Structure, Development Mechanisms, and Quality Assurance.
As a community of teachers committed to a Philippines where psychology is accessible, meaningful, and relevant to all, we find it imperative to articulate how this reform impacts the very formation of learners and the conditions under which educators teach.
