One athlete death or mishap is one mishap too many. Proactive and reactive moves are required. Proactive moves include screening everyone prior to sport participation.. REACTIVE moves mean you know what to do when you're in that scenario. Let's start with the latter.

So, if youre a doc, PT, nurse, EMT, coach, school/ PE teacher who is interested to work in SPORTS or you are currently working with athletes, then we would like to invite you to take part in this course and make a difference...SAFE SPORTS SAVES.

Use IT or Lose IT... AI smart glasses for surgery? I'd say its good for listening to music privately, documenting POV surgical field pics and vid (data privacy and confidentiality rules apply of course) via voice, answering calls and text via speech... Just don't forget to turn off notifications so you don't get distracted.. Nothing beats a " thinking and focused brain" .It also helps you keep verbal notes of surgical findings which can be transcribed later on in the OR tech
My vote tho... Lose it.

What is a concussion protocol?
Basically it's a systematic and detailed way to check an Individual with a head brain /neck whiplash injury. Memory, awareness, balance tests need to be done by the team medical staff to come up with the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is set, then the individual has to pass each and every step of the protocol (Pic below)... These are the steps in general, Leagues have their own modifications to this protocol but in general the idea is safe return to play and to protect the athlete from long term brain/neurologic issues.

PS: courtside medical responders should have a plan on how to respond to one.. Team PTs or Docs should also know how to recognize one and do the S**T Assessment
