Patient sustained second degree burn 3 weeks prior. When she came to the clinic, the wound was showing signs of infection. We managed her accordingly and by 2nd week of treatment, there was no signs of infection and wound closure was complete.

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common type of skin cancer that frequently appears on sun-exposed areas of the body.

Although usually localised with excellent prognosis, if left untreated, it will gradually invade deeper layers of the skin, muscles, bone and cartilage causing severe tissue damage.

APD is characterised by transepidermal elimination of collagen or elastic fibers, forming this nodules. Condition is strongly linked to chronic renal failure. Mostly seen in dialysis patients. It is also associated with other medical conditions too.

Patients usually complain of intense pruritus.
