OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

In light of the recent earthquake that caused damage in parts of General Santos City and Sarangani and was also felt with considerable intensity in Tagum City, the HEMS Committee and Safety Committee of Aquino Medical Specialists Hospital, Inc. immediately implemented the hospital’s safety and evacuation protocols during the main tremor and the succeeding aftershocks.

We are grateful to share that no untoward incidents occurred among our patients, clients, employees, and hospital personnel.

Following the event, representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the City Engineering Office conducted an ocular inspection and structural assessment of our facility. Based on their evaluation, the hospital has been deemed safe for occupancy, with no observed structural cracks or issues affecting the building’s integrity.

The safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and the community remain our highest priority. We will continue to exercise vigilance and uphold the necessary safety measures to ensure that we can provide uninterrupted and quality healthcare services.

We thank everyone for their cooperation, trust, and continued support. Let us all remain alert, prepared, and safe.
