WHEN THE CALL IS TO RESCUE, WE ANSWER READY.

Patient care does not always begin inside the hospital. In emergencies and disasters, it can begin wherever help is needed.

On September 10 and 11, our hospital team partnered with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) for a hands-on Search and Rescue Training, sharpening our skills in responding to situations where every second, every decision, and every helping hand can count. Because being prepared is part of caring too.

No emergency comes with a rehearsal. So we make sure the preparation happens before the real thing.

Our sincere thanks to the PDRRMO trainers for sharing their expertise and to everyone who took part in the training. Your time, effort, and willingness to learn are part of what makes a stronger, more prepared response possible.

Our Social Workers now have a new space, bringing support and assistance closer to the patients and families who need them. Sharing the same office are our Government Assistance Staff, making access to medical assistance more convenient and easier to navigate.

You can now find the Social Workers’ Office near the Hospital Chapel and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit.
