Learning, listening, and growing together—one conversation at a time!

The 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 of St. Thomas More Integrated Colleges participated in the second and final day of 𝘗𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘒𝘢𝘥𝘢 𝘝𝘪𝘣𝘦: 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘕𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 last October 15, 2026, at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The school was represented by Peer Circle Club President Ms. Hannah P. Gaviola and Peer Circle Club Member Ms. Chairalyn C. Pascual , together with their adviser and Guidance Coordinator, Ms. Shainna Mae Amor D. Isorena, RPm.

The final day focused on strengthening participants’ knowledge and practical skills in mental health literacy, mental health conversations, Psychological First Aid (PFA), advocacy and partnerships, and referral pathways and support networks.

Through interactive breakout sessions, role-playing activities, and hands-on exercises, participants practiced Psychological First Aid, developed their active listening skills, and explored appropriate ways to respond when someone is experiencing emotional distress. These activities emphasized the importance of listening with empathy, responding with care, respecting personal boundaries, and connecting individuals to appropriate support when needed. 🤝💚

As the workshop came to a close, one important lesson remained: being a peer supporter is not about having all the answers, but about being willing to listen, show understanding, and help others find the support they need. Every conversation can open a door, every act of kindness can offer comfort, and every connection can help create a safer and more inclusive community. 💜✨

May the lessons from PeerKada Vibe continue beyond the workshop and inspire our Peer Circle Club to foster a culture of empathy, mental health awareness, and genuine support within the St. Thomas More Integrated Colleges community and beyond. 🌿💚

A meaningful step toward building stronger connections and more supportive spaces! 💜🌱

The Peer Circle Club of St. Thomas More Integrated Colleges participated in Day 1 of 𝘗𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘒𝘢𝘥𝘢 𝘝𝘪𝘣𝘦: 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘕𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 last October 14, 2026, at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The school was represented by Peer Circle Club President Ms. Hannah P. Gaviola (II-BEED Student) and Peer Circle Club Member Ms. Chairalyn C. Pascual (II-BSEd Student), together with their adviser and Guidance Coordinator, Ms. Shainna Mae Amor D. Isorena, RPm.

This workshop provided an opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen the values of empathy, inclusivity, and peer support. Through initiatives like this, we continue to empower student peer supporters to become more understanding, compassionate, and mindful of the people around them. Because sometimes, a listening ear, a kind word, or simply making someone feel included can make all the difference. 🤝💚

Here’s to creating healthier connections, nurturing supportive friendships, and building a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued! 💜✨
