A heartfelt thank you to our hardworking Barangay Health Workers for their unwavering commitment and dedication in serving the community. Your passion and service truly make a difference. 💙

This activity was made possible through the initiative and support of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Fidel V. Pondevida Jr..

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Hon. Servando P. Momo Jr. and the officials of Barangay Samonte for allowing us to use the Barangay Hall and for the warm accommodation throughout the training.

Together, we continue to strengthen community health through teamwork and commitment. 💉🤝

Maternal Program 1-Day Training

The Maternal Program 1-Day Training was successfully conducted on May 6, 2026, at around 8:00 a.m. held at the Barangay Samonte Covered Court, Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

The activity was spearheaded by our hardworking Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Fidel V. Pondevida, MD, MPH, whose dedication and commitment greatly contributed to the success of the program.

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) regarding maternal health services and community healthcare delivery. Participants actively participated in the discussions and activities throughout the training.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Captain Servando P. Momo Jr. for his overwhelming support and assistance in making the activity possible and successful.

Special appreciation is likewise given to the Barangay Health Workers from Aurora, Cawilan, Moalboal, and Samonte for wholeheartedly embracing the training and showing enthusiasm in learning and improving their capabilities in serving their respective communities.

The activity ended successfully with strengthened coordination, improved learning, and renewed commitment among healthcare workers in promoting maternal health within the municipality.

✨ Badjao Wellness 2026 ✨

With grateful hearts, we proudly celebrate the successful conduct of our Badjao Wellness Activity held on March 24, 2026. 💙

This meaningful event was made possible through the leadership of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Fidel V. Pondevida Jr., MPH, and was officially opened by our dedicated DTTB, Dr. Sean Dominique C. Maghinay.

A special highlight of the activity was the active participation of our teenage Badjao participants, who listened attentively throughout the sessions and enthusiastically engaged in every activity. 🌟 Their confidence and creativity truly shined as they showcased their amazing talents—an inspiring reminder of the potential within our youth.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our special guest, Ms. Soraya Alvarez, whose presence and inspiring message greatly motivated and uplifted the Badjao community. 💖
